! They are driving north right now to be sure they will be in town on time.

Capturing the ears and stimulating the mind, the Pines - David Huckfelt and Benson Ramsey - hone their musical craft to perfection with a sound that wavers on the edge of traditional acoustic/roots music, but embraces the nuances of newer rock and pop grooves.

They have shared the stage with some pretty big names including Arcade Fire, Bon Iver and Jolie Holland. Their delicate, stripped down raw brand of American folk music is beautiful and moving stuff and Q magazine saw fit to award their CD Tremolo with 4 stars - quite an achievement.

The Pines will be supported by young local up and coming singer-songwriter
