Lucius
I'm trying to find out how much it would cost to hire a coach to pick up wedding guests from one hotel and transport them to another.Has anyone done this? Know someone who has? Maybe you work for a coach company?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Adam Easy Wishes
Speak to Keir's Coaches in Kintore - they'll do any job and are reasonably priced.Ignore this report, though: BBC News - Inverurie school bus firm banned from road
ub7rm
Bains coaches in Oldmeldrum were the cheapest for my wedding and would recommend them.450 ish to pick guests up from a hotel in Inverurie and take them to the church in Chapel of Garioch, pick people up from Pittodrie house and take them to the church, take everyone up to Pittodrie House hotel after the ceremony then take a heap of them from the hotel to Aberdeen CC via Inverurie at the end of the night. I think it was about 200 for half a day, although that was a few years ago now. They were good.
Nev
Ignore Keirs, they've got a track record for poor maintenance and safety (as shown in Adam's link), and we were on one of their buses to the Scotland-Spain game, which was broken before it got to us.Victoria Coaches in Peterhead are reasonable. It's out in the country near Ellon, cos I was on one of their buses once and I left my keys on it, and I had to go out to their bus HQ and get my keys back.I have contributed nothing to this thread. KimyReizeger
Avoid Bain's Coaches at all costs. A track record for being shite throughout the area. Had a very bad experience myself which involved spending four hours to travel roughly 100 miles because the driver had failed to take a map. Very unhelpful staff who wanted us to pay 600 in cash for their services and refused to countenance our very legitimate complaint against them. They're the cheapest...for a reason! Bass Cadet
Och I dunno.. The hillwalking club I belong to hires a 25 seat bus from Bains every month.. Picks us up at 7am, takes us out to wherever we are going, picks us up at dinner time, takes us to the pub, then takes us home for about 10pm.. costs 320 and they seem to be reliable for us..
