Active so require no external amplification.I used these to mix a few things back in the day including the 10EW 7" Kites/An Historic Event which you can hear here heer Myspace.I'm selling these because I've picked up a set of KRK Rokit RP6s which are more suited to bass heavy/club music as I'm not really producing 'live' music at this point in time.List price is 170, selling in perfect condition but unboxed for 100.
