Old Gold
I'm not sure if anyone has posted anything up about this yet, but just in case:Not a Teepee is a themed music compilation headed up by Green Pony (formerly of Welfare Mothers), featuring a wealth of contributors from around the world including Kitchen Cynics, Sarah J Stanley, Mark McCabe, Tim Courtney and more. Y'see, every couple of months the collective decides on a theme, everyone records a smashing song and then a compilation is formed in Mr Pony's lair in Holland and put up on the internet for everyone to download for free and listen to.It's all hosted on bandcamp, so the quality is dead good and very easy to relocate to your earphones. The first theme was declared MUD, and everything went pretty smoothly. Go listen!Mud | not a teepeeLet us know if you like it! Next theme is VIKINGS, so we shall let you know when it is available. Old Gold
Keys | not a teepeeA new compilation by the Not A Teepee collective. This one's a little different: the brief was to record a song using keyboards exclusively (cool results, seeing as most of us usually stick with guitar).Free to listen to/download at bandcamp, and I think there's a hidden bonus track if you download the whole thing. Old Gold
Teepee time!http://notateepee.bandcamp.com/album/maurice-sendakSort of a mini Teepee this time, possibly due to everyone busying themselves with stowing nuts and berries for winter. Five tracks inspired by popular children's author, Maurice Sendak. Hope you enjoy it!
Old Gold
http://notateepee.bandcamp.com/album/coversThis bi-monthly Teepee compilation is a circle-jerk-tastic collection of the Teepee Tribe covering each others songs. One of my favourites so far. Great work from Kitchen Cynics, Katerwaul, Green (Hekert) Pony, Sarah J Stanley and more. Free to download or stream at the above link, whatever takes yer fancy. Old Gold
Alsooooooooo... this.A few of our out-of-the-country collaborators are going to be over here during the Festivus period, and thought it would be fun to put a gig on at Project Slogan. It is suggested that you bring a pair of slippers, as if the weather sucks there shall be a no shoes policy a la your mother's house. It'll be really pleasant for the second day of your post-boxing day hangover. Also, BYOB. Superhero promoter Lost and Found will probably supply the party rings.
