Sam 45
Anyone looking forward to the new Deerhunter record? I for one am. Microcastle was pretty good and if Pitchfork is anything to go by (most of you probably disagree with this) then it's going to be gooooooooood.http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/14681-halcyon-digest/
vega
I'm planning on picking this up asap. Really liked the most of the Deerhunter stuff and I've loved both Atlas Sound albums.
Guest idol_wild
This has sneaked up on me. I can feel a Deerhunter renaissance coming on. I was well into them a few years back but they sort of went off my radar a bit as I got more into Atlas Sound.Hopefully get to see them play some songs live. RF Scott
After quite a few listens, I don't really like it and I'm not sure why - absolutely loved Microcastle. It might be because in the interim I've seen both Deerhunter and Atlas Sound play GOD AWFUL shows.I'm not going to give up on it just yet, though! Paranoid Android
I've only listened a few times and at the moment I like it but not as much as microcastle. None of the songs are as good as Nothing Ever Happened though. Not even close.
Larsen B
Don't say it's awful, because I gave it as a present and I don't want to give shit presents! I find I'm fairly indifferent to Bradford Cox. I liked Atlas Sound's set at Primavera this year, but I could attribute it partially to my heroic intake of alcohol in a short period of time to avoid the queues. Yep, I'm a big man alright.
