YETI
on his website there is a lesson on how to play the first part of clasical thump. he thumps it' date=' then thumps and hammer s it and then double thumps it. yea! to do the double thump you slap the open e string, hammer on the g (3rd fret) then pull your thumb back up to hit the G again. he dosent really slap like flea, its more like he hits downwards instead of slapping it head on. hhmm, hope that makes sense. theres a video on his site aswell.to slap ghost notes i just mute the fretboard.[/quote']yea i have seen the video cool technique but i doint really consider it slap bass nonetheless is a really amaizing bass player...for the ghost notes i get the touch slightly the string but i have herd songs where ghost notes are added as an extra thump on the rithm like doing a half hammer on on a string without really reach the fret board for the note to ring out i know is a complex theory but i cannot explayn it any better
