DJ Jo-D
You guys are good at suggesting ideas, so thought I'd ask for recommendations for camping and fishing (preferably somewhere quiet) Last year we did Loch Urn and a bunch of my friends just came back from Kinlochleven near Glencoe. Skacel
I was down near Pitlochry earlier this year and there's a campsite near loch tummel, lovely views. Nice part of the world down there round about Aberfeldy/Pitlochry
Alan Cynic
I'd second Pitlochry area....or Aberfeldy. We've started going to Alyth, as it's a good base for exploring between Forfar, Blairgowrie, Perth etc...but haven't a clue about fishing. Benji
Five of us went to Loch Awe last month in Argyll, notable train crash happened there a couple of weeks ago. But for camping you canna beat the West coast air and fishing imo.Costs 10 for fishing permit, free camping obviously and extras for boat hire etc Also I built a huge fire and should still be standing on the East side of the Loch.
