Zippy Posted April 29, 2010 Report Share Posted April 29, 2010 I have a slight problem with my pickup selector for my 72 Telecaster custom and was wondering if anyone knew the easiest way to fix it? If I select the neck humbucker (which I usually use) it keeps on popping back into the centre position. I have been using tape to hold it in place but it is frustrating as i occasionally flip to the bridge pickup mid song. If it's a sealed unit or it's not that obvious what's wrong then the easiest thing to do would probably be replace it. Get new switch, desolder wires from old switch, remove old switch, fit new switch, solder the wires to new switch, done. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
