D1 - ALL IN on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads

Iv'e known Dwayne since he was about 14,his parents made DnB records under the name of Sonartribe.

Good call - he has a few cracking tunes on the new Dubstep Allstars complilation.

Rusko's essential mix from 2008 was alright enough, but quite tame compared to what I would usually go for. His new stuff is fucking atrocious. I preferred him when he was making tunes like Action Dread. This is a decent remix:

Other worthwhile metions are Kromestar, Headhunter, RSD and Pinch.

For the more brutal side, these guys always go down well for me:

Get Darker is a great resource, at one point I was listening to as many as I could, but it all gets a bit much, so if I only had time to check one a week then the Hatcha show on Kiss is usually pretty ripping, often contains mini-mixes.

I'm nae so keen on the 4/4 variants, but the half speed stuff is mainly ace, I just can't be arsed dedicating myself to learning the totality of any genre these days, only constant variation can keep me sane, after 2 hours of anything I start to crave its polar opposite.

Also if Jungle was the Speed Metal of dance, then Dubstep must be the Doom, time for an extra crossover mayhaps.

I agree with this. The ones that make you wanna bounce and nod your head like the crowd in 8 mile.

Anyone going to this big dub night in korova on sunday??

Dubstep and Dub are two different things by the way.

Although Dub would sound absolutely banging on the soundsystem they are bringing in for this event.

I'm listening on his myspace after the Vic Galloway thing and I am enjoying what I hear. I may come to this gig, considering I find one of my friends willing to spend 13 as well. Maybe I can convince them it's a birthday present? Either way, I'm going to try to go.

Also, in the process of downloading the mix. It looks very promising.

Yeah this looks to be a slightly off the chain gig, i am also gonna put out a new mix to promote this gig.

If you are into this sort of thing, i have Dj Zinc playing this Saturday as well. I am gonna start selling tickets to these events minus the booking fees and maybe at a slightly reduced rate in some cases as well.

I am retarded when it comes to the 7million genre's of music, my boss has been attempting to give me an education in dubstep for the last few months after all our customers leave, will possibly be the first clubnight i've gone to that wasn't rock in about 2 years... im rather excited!

What sortof soundsystem are they bringing in, this excites me!
