Skacel
Who's everyone backing this year then?I usually go for a horse with reasonable odds, around about the 15/1 - 20/1 range, and a name I like. Therefore this year my money is on Arbor Supreme and Tricky Trickster.GL GL!!!

delboy
a horse between 9 and 11 years old, has run the distance, run over the fences at aintree, can run in whatever the going is on the day, hasn't run too much this season and has a jockey who has some Grand National experience should get in the top four. get the racing post on saturday and find a horse n rider with that criteria, if not back something with a sexy looking name! Sam 45
Anyone got any tips for this year? I've not managed to have a look at the stats yet. In the studio all day tomorrow but will hopefully get in to the bookies before hand to put something on.
Sam 45
Without putting too much thought into it, going to go for last years pick of Black Apalachi and hope history doesn't repeat itself. Might go with the Trickster as well.
Bigsby
One of the horses has a name similar to my newborn son so I'll stick a small each way bet on that one, even though the odds are silly. Anything can happen at the National though.

Captain America
Pulled Irish Raptor in the office sweepy. Great name. As long as the race is run in long grass this year, I'm confident.

Lemonade
I've got Dream Alliance, Mon Mome, Irish Raptor, and Vic Venturi in the works sweeper. 'Mon the 40 quid! I've forgotten all my passwords for the online bookies, and I'm too hungover to go out of the house, so I don't have anything else on it this year.
