"A three piece pheonix from the indie rock flames" - apparently! We used to be in the band Static in the City, this is our new band The Scandal Extracts, influenced by the likes of Sebadoh, Pavement, The National and Pearl Jam.

"Communication Song" is a bit of a rip off of Sons of the Stage Classic "My Song". I knew it sounded familiar!

I like all the songs. I wish you were my brothers or something.

I like the band's overall sound and the vibe a lot but I'm not really understanding the vocal very well, the lead singer's lackadaisical enunciation makes me zone out a bit to focus more on the instrumentation than the songs themselves.

I quite like it,typical Toms drum sound though. I always think that's his downfall.

I'm not keen on the sound of the demos (drums sound like bashing suitcases), but I'd be keen on seeing you guys play in the future.
