Someone shit in my hair.
Old Gold
I hope your hair is unkempt and the shitter is hungover. I mean... Fozzy for fucks sake.
Lemonade
Wirelessly posted (LG-GC900/V10a Obigo/WAP2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)I like Fozzy! Their second and third albums are ace. First one is questionable. Anyway it's irrelevant cos I already have tickets for Kiss.

Fish out of water
Sounds good. There were really good songs on Farm, hopefully they'll feel inclined to give them an airing. Good result for O2 as well I see.
Soda Jerk
I really liked Farm. All their albums since their comeback have been grand actually. Heaps of shredding and riffs.I'm possibly more excited about Built To Spill.
Guest idol_wild
I'm possibly more excited about Built To Spill.Me too. I hope I can make it, though I may miss it due to my own endeavours. I've seen Dinosaur Jr. twice and it's not a massively rewarding experience unless you love just hearing J Mascis drowning out his bandmates with his 11 guitar amps.Built to Spill, however. Soda Jerk
Yeah, I saw Dino Jr before I started liking them. It was of village destroying volumes, but I was too young to appreciate it. What a cunt.
Monster Zero
I saw Dinosaur Jr round about the time of 'Green Mind' on the Rollercoaster tour with the Jesus and Mary Chain, Blur and My Bloody Valentine and it has to be said I thought they were pish...it didn't help that the bass amp blew so J. Mascis played guitar solos to fill in time for fucking eons.I avoided them after that until I heard 'Where You Been', I couldn't believe it was the same band...I kind of remain happy to listen to the albums rather than see them live though, I've seen them live on telly as well and they were a bit ropey... Fish out of water
Ah, Rollercoaster. A legendary tour. Too skint to go myself.Heard all about You Made Me Realise though.

Too skint to go myself.Heard all about You Made Me Realise though.Yeah 15 minutes of the same distorted chord was a bit dull TBH. In fact MBV were the 3rd best band that night, the Mary Chain being 1st and Blur 2nd. Even if Blur did have a backing film of someone having a jobby in reverse. Fish out of water
Ha ha, I heard about that too.I see MBV weren't any better in their heyday then - walked out the Barra's a couple of years ago as I thought they were rubbish. Playing was poor and mix was terrible. Was roundly castigated by many for not "feeling it" or "not getting it".For the record, I love both albums. Just think they don't cut the mustard live. Other bands took their formula for guitar effects and did a far better job of actually coming up with some tunes....

It sounded like sonic rape. Then I was patronised for "not getting it".

berni907
Dinosaur Jr... What a band. I wish I could go. Morrisons currently owns my time, and is slowly destroying my soul. Hooray for Butchery.
