THE TWILIGHT SAD (LIVE) @ THE WAREHOUSE - Thursday 1ST April

Recommended Posts

Hmm, nobody would really go to see The Unwinding Hours on their own merit in Aberdeen apart from, perhaps, the 25-35 usual suspects...would they?

aereogramme had a reasonable fanbase up here, i'm sure that would be reflected in an unwinding hours show. i hope it would be anyway, should they play one...

I get the impression they will be. I hope people go. Really good record.

I dunno they seem to be getting a lot of mainstream attention. Brian Burnett even played them on Get It On last week.

who and what?

It's the show on Radio Scotland at 6pm every night after newsdrive, it's a themed request show but most of what they play is usually classic tracks and hits.

Think they played Unwinding Hours because they were going to be on Vic Galloway's show later in the evening. It was a nice surprise anyway.

Surely a Craig B solo gig with more than 70 people would lead to greater optimism than that! Anyway, as the man said, let's stop Hi-jacking The Twilight Sad thread.

Never got the Twilight Sad thing. t's my problem, not theirs, as so many people for whose musical taste I have respect assure me of their greatness.

Just doesn't do anything for me whatsoever. I'm sure it'll click for me one day, just like Modest Mouse did.

Strangely, I thought they'd be right up your street. I think it'll click one day.
