Report post Posted January 24, 2010 Oh right (shmu yeah?) well I must say I think it's a noble mission of yours to include more local acts in your show. Good for you.The problem is trying to think of bluesy acts from the local area as I'm really scratching my head. What sort of things are you playing currently? Report post Posted January 24, 2010 cover everything blues based from robert johnson to joe bonnamassa and anyone influenced by the blues like led zep and peter green. i hear there is gonna be a regular blues night in the cellar 35 soon but my problem is i'm outta touch with the local scene so just looking for a bit of help to promote the show and help some local talent
Report post Posted January 25, 2010 Smokin' Catfish are a great little local folk blues/bluegrass troupe. Worth a listen, even if their sound is a bit more country than what you're looking for.
