The Ghost Of Fudge

BEST ROCK ACT - Fudge Awards 2010

Recommended Posts

The Fudge Awards are an annual bitchfest, sorry, my mistake, annual celebration of the best of the best local bands Aberdeen has to offer. We'll be dishing out our amazingly high-quality prizes during the actual awards ceremony, and even inviting the winning acts to come up onstage with us and make speeches to their adoring public. We'll also have three bands playing. It all happens at The Moorings Bar on Saturday 6th February. Stick it in your diary. We'll be donating all money raised on the door to charity.

THE FUDGE AWARDS - BEST 'ROCK' ACT 2010

As well as this online poll, you can also vote in person at the Moorings on Saturday nights up until the awards: you'll get a paper voting slip as you come in the door. All of these votes will be totalled to arrive at our worthy champions. Hurrah!

Cobra Kai!

Lucky is still complaining about not winning best newcomer last year.

They lost by one vote.

I have lost count of how many times he brings this up in conversation.

TTA for me, who are the best of a bad bunch... in my opinion, and going by myspace recordings. Why have Snake Temple Kings no here?

I woulda prefered to have a negative vote. So i could take a vote away from Eric Euan, they gotta end up in minus votes! haha

Cobra Kai really impressed me last time I saw them so they get my vote, although Eric Euan are always good.

Its got to be Liars Dice, they are the north easts premier dirty blues act. They are like a depressed tramp of the Aberdeen music scene, it doesnt get much more rock and roll than that. The futures bright, the futures dirty blue

Cant say we ever really thought of ourselves, TTA, as a 'Rock' band... The very word makes me uneasy in relation to my advancing years...

Those crazy fudge japesters

This poll will close on Monday. Online votes will be added to those cast in person over the past few weeks (and tomorrow night) at the Moorings Bar. So just about anything can happen.

The Fudge Awards 2010 take place at the Moorings, Saturday 6th February. All profits towards our charity drive to Mongolia: teamFUDGE
