FatHand Posted February 7, 2010 Report Share Posted February 7, 2010 That was a really good gig.Little Kicks were superb. First time seeing IRL and Cast of the Capital and was impressed by both. The Underkills, were a real surprise for me from the line up, really enjoyed their set. Time off well spent I think, good work!I think the sound was not as good as it should have been in that venue though. I appreciate that it wasn't completely rammed but the sound was just too muddy to pick up the intricacies of some of the bands. Vocals were often lost. Only the little kicks sounded to me exactly how they should, sound wasn't quite 'big' enough for the rest but that didn't change the fact it was a great night with some ace tunes. Steven Milne Posted February 8, 2010 Report Share Posted February 8, 2010 This was a lot of fun.Not sure that we played to our full potential to be honest, a few glitches here and there but glad it seems to have gone down well and people seemed to get into it.Lots of positive feedback about the event in general seems to be coming back so im sure theyll do it again, hopefully we can play there again also.
