Oedo 808
Is it just "Dances With Smurfs"?
ZeromiserY
Is James Cameron’s Avatar Actually an Uncredited Rewrite of a 1957 Poul Anderson Story? | /Film
Oedo 808
It's weird, I was just watching the video about Harlan Ellison's end credit in The Terminator this morning.
ZeromiserY
i want to see avatar. dont think cameron will have to pay out over it. there are similiarities but they end at "some guy gets his concsiousness out into a bodythats nae human" they should have sued over that bruce (walter) willis movie too if thats th case, not only coz its the same thing but coz it sucked so much balls

One Man Revolution
Sorry to bump the thread - but did anyone else think the flying helicopter things were exactly the same as the flying terminators from the first two terminator films? I mean come on Mr Cameron, use some imagination...Great film though, I think.
waltz
Thought the story and characters were utter shit, and no amount of ridiculous 3D hype could distract me from that.
Guest orphan
Is it just "Dances With Smurfs"?Looks a lot more like two thirds of your face, if you ask me.
Hog
Great effects but I cringed at the part where the usual "big speech before the war" started up.I actually found it a bit boring.

Norseman
I loved it but I like these big grandioise Sci Fi epics and a bit cheese and clunkiness in some of the acting is no biggie in a film like this (or a fairly simplistic storyline). Seems to be a lot of polar opinions on this film but most of the people I know really liked it and I will be getting it on Blu Ray as well when it comes out.
