Been writing lyrics (despite not being able to play any instruments till more recently) since I was about 13/14. One of the arts of lyricism is putting a melody to it and making it fit, and fit well. Otherwise, it'll just be a poetry slam.Besides, most people are rubbish at writing lyrics, even people that do it for a living. Lyrics are rubbish.
