I Didn't realise there wasn't a post on here for this, this is Saturday,

An All-Day DIY Fundraiser for Safe-Tay

Featuring...

THE CUT UPS

Awesome passionate gruff melodic punk rock from Exeter on the final date of their Scottish tour. Like the best of Dischord Records with a distinctive UK punk twist, these guys could well be your new favourite band. Think Snuff, Leatherface, Fugazi and Bouncing Souls and you are in the ball park. Get stoked and show some love!

New album 'The High and Mighty' out now on Household Name Records.

Full-blast ska-core punk'n'roll mayehm from the east coast of nowhere on tour with The Cut Ups and playing their last show of 2009. Expect full-blown madness and fully-grown idiots jumping around to a Gorilla Monsoon commentating on a Propagandi/LoC/Capdown ladder match soundtrack. New EP 'This Is Your Future' out now.

THE EMOS

Fast, gobby, obnoxious hardcore punk rock from Bolton. These guys have been gigging like mad over the past year and are making their third trip north of the border of 2009 and bring their unique brand of half-naked ridiculousness to the party!

Album 'Quicker Than Khan' out now on TNS Records.

TORTURO NERVOSA

Hulking angular rock beasts from Perth bring the rukus with their brash brand of twisted punk rock'n'roll in the MoMeansNo/Shellac/McLusky (anti) mould. Since forming a little over a year ago, these nutters have gigged all over the UK and are currenly pimping their new 'Autopsy?' EP.

THE MURDERBURGERS

Quite possibly the finest Ramones-core pop-punk band in Europe, these grubby Glaswegians will bring a healthy dose of jaded cynicism and sing-a-long punk goodness to proceedings. If you like punk in any form, you'll love them. New album 'Semi-Erect, Semi-Retarded, Semi-Detached' out now on Monster Zero Inc!

FRIDAY FIRST

Intense soaring melodic post-hardcore 5-piece in the vein of Alexisonfire/Underoath/Thrice from Perth. Brutal and epic in equal measure, these boys have come into their own this year. Expect insane shred, huge choruses and beatdowns aplenty.

Their new 'Without A Reason, There Isn't A Purpose' EP is out now.

BILLY LIAR

Beautifully cynical acoustic punk rock poetry from Scotland's finest guitar-slinging angry young man. Armed with passionate tales of love, loss, booze, desperation and chaos, you are guaranteed to be charmed all the way to the bar.

I love Billy and you should too. 'It Starts Here' is out now!

ESCAPE TO VICTORY

In-yer-face positive melodic hardcore punk from Aberdeen in an Ignite/Strike Anywhere/Kid Dynamite stylee. With a distinctly north-east take on the mid-90s Epi/Fat skatecore sound, look for lashings of fist-in-the-air punk rock love, double-time and gang-chants aplenty.

GRADER

'Formed in 2008, refined in 2009', these lacerating Aberdeen-based troops bring a refreshingly bleak approach to modern hardcore punk'n'roll and sound to me like The Bronx falling out with Cancer Bats. Go download their first EP from the mypuss page and learn the words.

YEAR AT SEA

Shouty yet fragile, jarring yet melodic post-hardcore/emo jamz from the east coast 'supergroup' featuring members of Archives, Santo Caserio and TFOBK.

With nods to the likes of Pretty Girls Make Graves/Rainer Maria/Braid, these guys play perfectly irresistible lady-fronted noise-pop. Do not miss!

VERSAILLE

Youthfully exuberant and super-melodic, these synth-driven 21st Century pop-punk scamps from the Perth are the closest thing to Fall Out Boy you'll ever see on a MTAT bill! Expect bouyancy, excitement, funny haircuts and big tunes to soundtrack your teenage heartbreak.

XHAROLDSHITMANX

Without a doubt the most abrasive, ugliest and downright disgusting sounding band on the bill, these Perth filth-mongers will be obliterating eardrums with their rancid brand of power-violence/noisepunk madness. Split with Wheelchair x4 out now.

THE HIJACKS

Invigorating, uplifting, jubilant and uber-danceable,these political ska-punk legends from Aberdeen are visiting Dundee for the first time in far too long. Lazy comparisons would be Catch 22/Against All Authority/Op Ivy, so expect horn-fulled sing-a-longs and much dancing like goons. Deece!
