aekido
Looking for lots of weird and wonderful films with Vampires, can be anything from Dracula to stuff like Underworld [yes just watched it, so stuck in my head], and everything in between, modern and oldAny suggestions? Kieran_imray
Blade Trilogy, though the third one is weaker than the first 2 imo. Ryan Reynolds does dish out the worlds greatest insult however, which nearly brings it on par. Those films are the real reason Wesley Snipes went to jail, he got locked up for being too badass... ca_gere
Might be obvious suggestions but off the top of my head...Nosferatu - the original and Werner Herzog's take. Both brilliant. Also, anything with Peter Cushing and/or Christopher Lee in it. Proper hammy acting at it's finest. A Hammer Horror boxset is a great investment. They are always cheap too.The Francis Ford Coppola Dracula film isn't as bad as everyone makes out too. Not the best film but for any Christopher Walken fan The Addiction is a must. And last but by no means least... Blacula (yes, with a black Dracula)
Lucius
The Lost Boys springs instantly to my mind.Lost Boys 2 is ok too. Watch a little bit into the credits for a cool extra scene.Do not however watch A Vampires Kiss with Nicholas Cage. It's garbage soaked in tramps piss! kirsten
Wirelessly posted (LG-GC900/V10a Obigo/WAP2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)I think you mean 30 Days of SHITE. That film sucked. It was hilariously bad. I liked how the little girl vampire sounded like an old woman pretending to be a child and also delivered the terrible line, "I'm done playing with this one. You want to play with me now?" It didn't sound menacing in the slightest, just cringe-worthy.All the ones I can think of have already been said, so I'll just second Nosferatu and Let The Right One In. I've not seen the original Blood: The Last Vampire, but did see the one that was released in June. It's worth a watch, but it does feel like there are chunks of the story missing...Also found this: Top 70 Vampire Movies of All TimeI forgot about Love At First Bite! Norseman
Recently re-watched Vamp but I thought it had dated badly, very camp but still enjoyable in a cheesy mad way.I have seen Twilight as well, it was ok and the vamps in it were pretty mega insanely powerful which was an interesting touch, none of this Hammer Horror woosy vamp stuff.I did enjoy 30 Days Of Night, don't know how close it was to the original graphic novel but I liked it and I like Melissa George as an actress (a long way from Home & Away!).Quite liked the Moonlight series about the vampire detective (again canned after one series) and I am getting into True Blood. The old Brit series Ultraviolet was good, would have liked to have seen more of that.
