"Crafted in Japan" was for domestic market only (I imported her in 2001) - these are generally considered to be as good has the American reissues (and come loaded with US Texas Special PUs as standard) - see Serials, dates of manufacture, Fender Stratocasters, Made in Japan, Crafted in Japan and CIJ vs. MIJ ... what's the difference? - The Gear Page for some background info.Used ones generally go for around 550 (see Far East Guitars, used Fender Japan guitars for sale) - I'm looking for offers around 500 for quick sale or will possibly trade for similarly-priced/quality bass guitar.
