waltz
The NBA season started again last night. Big wins for Lakers and Celtics, predictably. I was expecting the Cleveland Cavaliers to take the Celtics, they've been looking good in pre-season - the Shaq/LeBron duo's looking promising - but it wasn't to be. I still reckon they're in with a shout for the title this year though.Anyone else into basketball? Discuss here.
Captain America
If dwayne wade gets ANY help offensively this season, heat should get the 5/6 seed in the east. Which would please me. Beasley will hopefully get 30+ mins a game this season, that should help if he breaks out this year.

AronMaiden
Had to find a new team to support this year after last season was a bit of a downer what with Seattle Supersonics no longer.Denver all the way good start for them! RF Scott
If Bulls lose to Milwaukee tonight I'm going to throw a bit of a wobbly
waltz
Surprised it took the Cavs so long to get a win. The Heat are looking fantastic this year though. Dwayne Wade's surpassed 10,000 points for Miami now, he's just incredible.

RF Scott
Internets, there's always a decent stream somewhere.sorry to sound really picky, but how decent are they normally? I'm very easily annoyed by glitchy internet video stuff! Thanks in advance!
kirkt
I like the Celtics but there is too many games/its on too late at night for me to follow it properly unfortunately
Captain America
sorry to sound really picky, but how decent are they normally? I'm very easily annoyed by glitchy internet video stuff! Thanks in advance!Quality depends man. It can be a very nice HD stream or a really nasty one. You've just got to look around and find the best one.I like the Celtics but there is too many games/its on too late at night for me to follow it properly unfortunatelyIt's tough to keep up with all the games, nba.com does a nice video called the "daily zap" which is a 5min breakdown of all the results from the night before. Handy for those of us who can't be up late to watch em all.

waltz
So Allen Iverson quit Memphis, and now no team seems to want him. How did that happen?
Captain America
Lets revive this.I'm am so excited for my heat. Haslem is staying as well, a few more pieces and this could be amazing.
ca_gere
I watched a documentary about Len Bias last night. So sad, and i'd never even heard of him. Apparently the guy could've been bigger than Jordan. This whole Lebron story has reignited my interest in basketball. I might even pick a new team to follow, my first since the 93/94 Bulls. Captain America
My teams have always been Heat/Rockets. Hopefully in for a good season. Until someone stands on Yaos toe. Miami will be great... *crosses fingers*
waltz
The Knicks acquisition of Amar'e Stoudemire could be huge. But Bosh/LeBron/Wade might be the new Pippen/Jordan/Rodman.

Sam 45
Me and some pals organised a game of hoops on Thursday, first game since school, i'd say it was about NBA standard. I kid you not somebody scored a 3-pointer that bounced off the ground first...

I can do a pretty mean medium-range jump shot and on a rare occasion, a 3 pointer, but useless at close range. Y'all got mad skillz? Let's play some time. Captain America
I'm ok, haven't played in about a year. Would be up for a game though.
Captain America
Anybody keeping up with this season? All star is over with and now it's trades galore. Williams just getting traded is a bit of a shock! The Knicks looking like next season they could be 3/4th in the East with Melo now.
