Clique in the sense that the regular posters here have had time to get to know who the other posters are, they know a bit about their likes/dislikes and more importantly their sense of humour. Anyone coming in brand new like yourself is obviously going to be at a bit of a disadvantage to begin with, but the clever ones take a little bit of time to get the feel of the board.

It's like starting a new job - you're not going to march into the office and expect to be best mates with everyone, or shout abuse at them because they didn't invite you to lunch. You just need to take the time to suss it out, get the feel for how this place works, and I promise you will be welcomed here just like everyone else has been since this site began. The site wouldn't have got this far if we didn't give newbies a chance, but it makes a difference if you can get off on the right foot from the start...
