Hi there I am new to the forum. My name is Graeme Noble and I am a film director from Aberdeen. This is the trailer to the feature length movie I made in the city over 6 months in the summer -

I was looking for a few actors who live in Aberdeen and came across this forum. My film group are planning on shooting a proper feature length movie soon and auditions for this next feature length movie from NB will be held this coming Friday night at 7.30pm. If you are at all interested in having a role of any sort for our next film then you can meet me outside LIDL on King Street Aberdeen at 7.30pm sharp.

If you plan on coming I would advise you give me a text or phone at 07783963137 to confirm!

You can also join our film group 'Noble Brothers Productions' on Facebook - just type that in the search field.

This is a good opportunity and the film we are planning on shooting will be of professional quality (more professional than the already professional 'The Hope Within' feature length movie we made this year). We plan on shooting our next film from January 2010 to August 2010 but this is just a rough guide.

If you want to find out more about the film you can get in touch with me via Facebook or Text, or you can find out more on Friday night as discussions will take place.

Acting in a feature length film is definitely a worth while experience and is not only very fulfilling, it is also very enjoyable!

Regards, Graeme.

According to your Wiki you only make Christian films. Is that correct? I would have been interested otherwise.

Noble Brothers Productions

A UK-based independent film group specialising in feature length movies containing Christianity storylines alongside high quality action.

[edit] Style of Filmmaking

The group started out as just another independant Kung Fu film group. However, after the completion of Blue Dragon and due to the fact that none of the cast members were particularly talented in martial arts, founding members Graeme Noble and John-William Noble decided to add some originality into their style of filming. This was done so that the group would be able to compete with the best but do so with a completely different approach. Therefore, for the group's following feature-length, The Hope Within, it was decided that it would contain a Christian storyline. Thus, although there would be violent action sequences, the movie would not promote such behaviour. Instead, the movie would promote something positive and the violence would be shown as 'wrong' behaviour. For entertainment purposes though, Graeme Noble still persists that Noble Brothers Productions contains at least some Hong Kong style action sequences. With short films such as Golden Boy, the group have shown that they can also introduce comedy into their films. For their forthcoming feature length films however, the style of filming will be completely serious and have at least some level of Christianity in the storyline and shall include action sequences!

Most of our cast members are not Christians but it certainly offers a fresh outlook...Our films are far from preaching and the non-Christian cast members really liked the Christian storyline of our last film and this new film will be less focussed on the Christian aspect!

I love hearing about films in my home town with local actors but I'm always let down to an extent

from watchin that trailer i think you have tried to make a good gripping story but its let down by the actors, they are all out their depth and Im very aware that im watching something set up.

A simple story would have sufficed which would bring out the best in the actors. not the other way round

A film in aberdeen should reflect truely what we are like up here, not trying to make it like some big action film with guns etc its just not believable to me being from here and spoils it for me

i dont meen to bee to harsh with these comment

good luck with this project

I remember renting a film out that was set in Aberdeen and had Ten Easy Wishes on the soundtrack, any ideas what it is? Or was I dreaming?

"In a Man's World"

The film wasn't brilliant - like fatboy says, it was all guns and gangs and a bit unbelievable for residents of Aberdeen. Was acclaimed at some film festival though, I think.

I heard the soundtrack was proper garbage too.
