Woodend Barn Posted August 10, 2009 Report Share Posted August 10, 2009 The Barn will welcome one of Australias most talented and wacky choirs on 26th August at 7.30pm.The Spooky Men are a handpicked bunch of ruthless larrikins, whose stated ambition is to make audiences weep and guffaw at the hapless beauty and hopeless stupidity of their vocal machinations. Not your average male voice choir, they perform original compositions, ranging from heart-rending to humorous.They have performed to general delirium at most Australian festivals and are now known as the underground hit of the 2009 Australian festival circuit. They have also pillaged the UK to devastating effect in the past years making a first appearance at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh in 2006. They will stop by the Woodend Barn for an evening of Spookmania on Wednesday 26th August.
