Just saw the new one on Crystal Meth. Fucking hell...o_O hope we don't get that shit here. Scotland a prime candidate if ever I saw one, what with all the fucking super depressed white people. Anyway, a bit tough to watch but one of the best documentaries I've seen of his.

Yeah. He didnt take the piss out of them in this one cos of the more serious content. I was hoping at some stage he was gonna visit a house where they made it. One of the peoplle he visited said they go a bit mental from inhaling their cooking products.

That kind of made me laugh 'cos the guy who said it wasn't exactly a supporting wall if you know what I mean.

Newsflash to OP, this drug is already available in Scotland.

You sure it's meth? It wouldn't surprise me as you can cook it from ephedrine and readily available chemicals, but what we call speed is amphetamine sulphate which is what our tweaky friends here are usually sniffing.

EDIT: Ahhhh, we do have it now:

BBC NEWS | UK | Scotland | North East/N Isles | Four years for crystal meth maker

Makes sense, Forres is the the Fresno of Scotland

It is apparently a growing problem in aberdeen too...strange, meth draws comparisons to crack for me, cheap to make, cheap to sell, nasty as fuck and addictive as hell. Crack's been around for a lot longer though and I wasn't aware of any crack situation of aberdeen?

Crack is definitely nocking about Aberdeen but apparently it's pretty pricey. As for meth, I've heard it's available but even a lot of hardened drug takers here steer clear of it due to its cerebral effects. We need an ab-music resident junkie to sort out these kinds of matters.

The film Spun is all about Crystal Meths if I remember correctly... nasty shit

I absolutely love Louis Theroux and think he's been one of the most watchable people on television in the last 5 years. My only bother is that they must give some of the people filmed a cash incentive (or something similar) to get them to speak so openly about illegal things on film... wouldn't take a genius to figure out what most of the people on last night's show would have spent their money on.

The wrestling episode's one of my favourites.

The wrestling episode's one of my favourites.

That show was ace, I felt really sorry for him when they were trying to humiliate him at the training centre and pushed him so far he ended up puking.

Was a good documentary last night, a real eye opener. Reminded me of the one he did where he followed the Philidelphia (I think) police department.

I liked his Weird Weekend series a lot, particularly the ones on survivalists and the Chatsworth porn industry.

One thing that I've never liked about his shows though is the priggish, judgy way he presents himself. I suppose it's to throw American people off by playing on English sterotypes, when he really is totally open and fearless, but I've always found it a bit uncomfortable and tiring. I didn't get any of that from this latest programme, thankfully.
