NICE PETER

Augmented by serious musicianship, Nice Peter's hysterical original acoustic based pop songs are a terrific change of pace for any modern music lover. Trained at the Improv Olympic in Chicago, Pete Shukoff brings his improv comedy experience to the rock and roll stage. Audiences across the US and UK are laughing, dancing, and raving about this one-of-a-kind act with a truly unique live experience. Be clear - Nice Peter is a skilled musician and lyricist first and-foremost - this is no stand-up comic hawking round a battered acoustic for laffs. The delivery is first-class, the content consistently forthright and devastatingly hilarious. You can order all merchandise from... www.nicepeter.com

Y'all know the SON HENRY BAND by now. They do blues with rip-roaring slide solos and plenty of charisma. But you knew that.

You possibly don't know EVILL NEILL. But he can sometimes be found playing open mic jam nights... If you want a song about menstruation that's suprisingly good, he's your man. In a similar set-up to Nice Peter, Evill Neill will be accompanying himself on acoustic guitar.

Opening this night of frivolity will be the nearest thing the Moorings Bar has to a house band, as Rupunzel Wizard leads his band of drunkards into battle. Oh yes, it's time for THE DOGS BOTOX to make their saturday night bow...

From 8.30pm

My first visit to the Moorings in 20 years! It has certainly changed!

I was amazed at the investment that has went into making this a first class venue. Well done Brian and Flash.

Nice Peter went down a storm as usual - "50 Cents Is A Pussy" is a classic.

Evill Neill's outrageous lyrics certainly pleased the capacity crowd.

And I liked the two sax players in the Son Henry line-up.

Quite a night indeed.
