Hog
I have 2 contollers but only one lead. What is the name of the lead (for charging/connecting to my PS3)Also, can I play PS1 games on my PS3. I heard I can if the drive is a certain size...how can I find this out?ThanksHog:up:
Captain America
If you have the newer 40Gb version of the PS3 then it's not backwards compatable, at all. If it's the 60Gb there are lists on the internet, if you search google im sure you'll find out what games work (as only some do). This cable?Amazon.com: Playstation 3 Controller Charging Cable: Video Games
Bigsby
Are they not just mini USB to big USB? If so they come with loads of different things, I've usually got heaps lying about, came with my camera/portable hard drive/Pocket Pod etc etc.
Bigsby
Something like this:USB Cable for PS3 Controller Charger.PSP.PlayStation 3 on eBay, also A to Mini B Cables, USB Cables, Cables Connectors, Computing (end time 27-Jun-09 15:31:51 BST)
Alkaline
Every PS3 will play a PS1 game (there may be a few games that don't work at all though). It's only emulation for PS2 games that there is no backwards compatability with on newer models. I think it's just a mini USB to USB for the controllers. Why do you need two leads though? Bigsby
Why do you need two leads though?Presumably so he can charge them both at the same time.
Alkaline
Presumably so he can charge them both at the same time. They charge so quickly though and they hold a charge for donkeys. Fair do's i've got two and cope with one lead.

Cloud
I'm not telling you. You'll only fucking argue about it...Oh come on, don't be such a misery guts!An answer like "It was too expensive to put the physical PS2 hardware inside the PS3 and emulation is too inaccurate" would have done (I imagine that was the reason, though I could easily be wrong)I believe "Pwned" is the correct term?Come on..you can only talk about men when you're actually old enough to drink/have hair on your face.Shouldn't you be outside demolishing phone boxes instead of sitting on the internet, anyway? MattJimF
Only the US PS3's had hardware PS2 backwards compatibility, the European ones had software emulation not sure about the Japanese but they may have been the same as the US versions.
