Lemonade
It looks mega poncey and pretentious.I imagine it will be frequented by the kind of people who visit real ale festivals.Oh, wait.....
Chris
It's a Peckhams. Basically the same idea as McLeish's that was there before but looks a lot better. Large selection of decent wine, ale and whisky. Probably a bit pricier than the supermarket but with better individual deals, though I didn't look too closely.Good range of sandwhiches, kchocolat stuff, general foodie goodness. Chris
Boo, I was expecting loads of beers..... only wines and whisky according to their site..... rubbish.Read my post! There's a selection of ales, though nothing looked "out there". Slightly better than the ale section in Asda.

Chris
I did read your post.... I don't really like ales So what were you expecting/hoping they'd stock then if you're not interested in wine, whisky or ales? Bearing in mind it's a deli which immediately means it has to stock pretentious booze only, no tennents or stella.

I didn't know it was a deli chain specialising in food and wines.Does that clear it up?

Sam 45
Peckhams in Glasgow is really good. It has a very vast selection of spirits, beers, wines, ales and champagne ect.
KarmaTsunami
I've had a snoop around the beers. Moosehead, Lone Star and Brooklyn Lager as well as Anchor Steam were purchased. The other branch on Schoolhill has a few different ones as well.I'm gonna be ransacking the spirits when I get paid though...

neepheid
Had a nosey in, didn't have time for a good snoop though. Came out with a couple of swing top Grolsch bottles - only for the straplocks, you understand - I was forced to drink the beer
Lemonade
I've been trying to source Emmet's Banana Liqueur for years with no luck. Might go in and see if they can help me out. You can only buy it in the Canary Isles for some reason, which is peculiar since it's made in Ireland.
