1) Maximum RockNRoll - tho sad to see distribution to indy stores such as one up and avalanche has dissapeared lately. - http://www.maximumrocknroll.com/

2) Reason To Believe - The UKs best Crust/punk/hardcore zine - http://www.rtbzine.org/

3) Ripping Thrash - http://www.rippingthrash.com/

4) Infinite Monkey - http://www.geocities.com/snufffan/zine/zine.html

And if anyone has a copy of the residue zine (local zine run of 50 or so made) from a few years ago i'd love a copy interviews with napalm death, capdown, Oi Polloi + more, lost my copy somewhere.

yea no idea why we don't get it anymore, i'll chase that up actually. we used to get it through cargo but it was fairly random when it would come through. it's okay is maximumrocknroll but i find it a bit limited in what it covers musically. the features are dead good though.

I know I'll get accused of being an emo kid for this but I really loved Fracture. Most of the above mentioned are too anarcho orientated for me and are very heavy reading although thats not to say I don't enjoy them...I just like a bit of a mixture of politics and humour along with the music.

My fave zine is GADGIE, written by a PE teacher/diy promoter in Boston, England....it has me in stitches, it's so funny!

other zines I enjoy is: Small Sailor, Suspect Device, Scanner, Artcore and Headwound to name but a few....

check these out from Death Wish zine Distro www.runningriotrecords.co.uk/smallsailor (i think)

im also starting a zine distro in Aberdeen, hopefully that will generate some interest. At the moment I've only got copies of Running on Empty (emo/indie) and Initonit (punk/hardcore feats Send More Paramedics and Swellbellys interviews), if anyone is interested PM me

I gotta say I love MRR. While the interviews kinda let the zine down a little, the columns rock.

If folks wanna pick up MRR, they can do so via Active Distribution at http://www.activedistribution.org or from Assembly Line at http://www.assemblylinemusic.com

Yeah, while their music coverage wasn't really to my taste, Fracture was still a great zine, and is sadly missed.

You're starting a zine distro? Cool.

sometimes MRR can be a bit too elite, y'know, but it is pretty good.

i'm hoping to set up my own zine aswell, altho it'll probably start as web-based, but i'd like to give it a shot.
