stevealex35 Posted May 27, 2009 Report Share Posted May 27, 2009 Hello!My band requires a splitter van to travel to and from Inverness to Play GoNorth and Rockness (rockness does not provide backline!).Leave Aberdeen Thursday 11th June.Return to Aberdeen Sunday 14th June.The van needs to hold this gear:2 x Fender deluxe combo guitar amps610 ampeg bass cab1 x Alesis Synth (flightcased)1 x ampeg bass amp head (Flightcased)2 bass guitars (Hardcased)2 pedal boxes (flightcased)2 large cable hardcases4 guitars (gig bags) 1 full drum kit (padded casing) + stand box (flightcased)1 large merch boxesroom for clothes/sleeping gear bags for 6 peopleIdeally we need it to sit all 6 of us (4 band, 1 photographer, 1 sound engineer).If any one has one/knows anywhere we can get a good deal on one, PLEASE pm me.I have tried AIG. I'd try Arnold Clark, too, they have some good 6 seater Transits.Probably sounds totally obvious (sorry if it does!), but the vast majority of van rental places require you to be 24/25.
