Wow. Someone feels nostalgic! ;)

Any song by Fiction/Action will constitute my answer to the initial question. I miss that band so so much.

Also, Upon Reflection by the good-era Dedalus was especially terrific. In addition to Navigator.

Two bands that really, really ought to have achieved so much more across the UK.

Okay, I think I feel nostalgic too...

We should have some kind of old local band EP amnesty, where folk list the stuff they've got from yesteryear that you can't get any more, and will burn a copy / lend it to other folk.

that would be a great idea, ive got quite a few local eps if anyone wants a copy.

Fav songs for me would be:

Reinvent yourself - RHL

Stay the same - Xcerts

Watch your back - Broken Sunshine

Mr Emo man - Gilman Street

Suburbia - Gilman Street

The Truth Devine - Black Atom

Someday Soon - The Score

Girls With Cellos - Nero

Second Look - Le Reno Amps

All i ever - Genevieve

A quick check and the following EPs are still going about.

We Become Less (The one with the novel CD case)

My Decaying Leg - Another Rotting Day

Purple Munkie - The Fisty EP

Sirius - Baby Can I...? plus the following random tracks; 15s Close Enough, Milf Please II, We Hate Ronald McDonald, Respect The Mohawk, Love Hearts and The Fudge Theme (Does anyone have the Canal Street EP? If anyone has Dopedickhead I'd like that track.)

Quik - 0% Attendance, 100% Punktuality || Here Comes The Fall

10 Easy Wishes - Eaten by Sharks || Disaster

The Xcerts - One Time Too Many (The original and best! Well, the original anyway)

Should also have the Nero EP floating around somewhere and a couple of Broken Sunshine CDs if they've not been stolen.

All my Liber8, Eddison and Driveblind stuff I know to have taken a walk somewhere.

All my CDs are sitting in boxes in the loft at my folk's house but I will try to have a rake next time I'm home and see what I can find.

Lost - Unnamed EP

Point Of Origin - Swallow This Punk

Sirius - Baby Can I?

And a bunch of randomly downloaded songs by Deadloss, Edgar Prais, Parity's Fall, The Planeteers, Point of Origin, Stayover and 10 Easy Wishes.

Turning 13s, Deftonesk, Instrament!

was listening to the turning 13 album not long ago and i'd forgotten how good it was. some cracking songs on there!

as said earlier fiction/action had some great songs. missing control, ballad of william blake, etc.

also really liked a dedalus song which i think was called lough shore.

I really like that sledgehammer cover that Dear John did for 80s night in Drummonds a few years back.

I also like deep sleep or something by Toy, really good song.

Kimmy Reizeger... two sides to every circle.

I've actually got a shocking memory, watched a lot of bands and enjoyed a lot of their music but can't really remember too much.

Recently been digging a lot of Az-I Cool and Kuda's hip hop.

Elevation - their opener (can't remember the name, not Spanish, the other one)

I don't tire of hearing that tune, even after working in drummonds for ages and seeing them a million times. They perform it so well and have that scally swagger + driving beat + simple chord thing down to a T. Not the greatest band but if we're picking out single songs, it'd be that one.

Also the first one off Turning 13's album, one of The Garcias catchy ones and one of Black Atom's that I never bothered finding out the name.

Christ, what a pointless post. No song titles whatsoever, apologies.

The Condiments - Hip Magical and Sexy

...

another shitty love song

You should check out my new band when we're on the gigging circuit. The chief condiments songwriter is involved.

TOY- Comedy Club, Womb with a View

Kartta-Henri Got Cancer

PVH- Year old girls cherries

Marionettes- Helena

Everythingwesayisfact- Bikes Bikes Bikes

Debutant- jeanne d'arc

Cast of the Capital- Passing the horse

Anything by Xcerts

Non-filler from Copy Haho (to be fair, their latest setlist has no padding whatsoever. It's all gold)
