Sora01 Posted April 30, 2009 Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 Hey guys, I have here a jcm900 4501 ive had for about 3 years, its had a few previous owners, made in 1991. I replaced the valves around 2 years ago, with jj telsa el34s in the power amp, biased hot. and jj telsa ecc83s in the preamp.I also replaced the speaker with a vintage 30. It sounds extremely warm, and smooth, Great for hard rock/blues/shred you name it, it can probably do it. I'd like 300 for it, But im open to offers.Pics:Also for sale is this tubescreamer ts9dxI bought it for 135 If your wanting to tighten up your sound, or add a subtle gain boost without colouring your tone, this is great, I used this infront of the jcm900 for a metal tone, worked extremely well. Could acheive anything, from, Meshuggah to metallica. Plenty of gain when coupled.Id like 50, Again, im open to offersPics:I'd prefer things to be picked up, or handed over in aberdeen city somewhere, the amp is too heavy to post. Sora01 Posted May 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2009 *bump*The TS is goingThe marshall jcm900 is still for sale. 300 or nearest offer.When I said the valves were replaced 2 years ago, it hasn't been gigged or played very loud since then, so they have alot of life left in them.
