aekido
So, anyone watch TBBT?
Guest
Yeah, it's funny. On an unrelated note, Lee Mack is not funny.
Sturtpot
Yeah its a great show, very laugh out loud funny. The christmas episode that was on a few weeks ago was the best one by a mile. I'd go so far as to say its much better than the IT Crowd.
aekido
I have both series's on my laptop but never heard anyone talking about itI personally think it's one of the best comedy shows out atm, next to Scrubs
Captain America
It upset me when they made one of the non funny jokes about a Venn Diagram and I had just got out of uni for the day and actually laughed. It is great though.
ca_gere
It's terribly acted and the jokes are crowbarred in but I could still happily sit and watch ten in a row. In the same way as I can't get enough of that How I Met Your Mother. Scrubs and Arrested Development (god rest its soul) are a million times more clever and better put together but it does make me laugh a lot so can't knock it. davewarden
The episode with the time machine may be the best thing Ive ever seen!
paranoid
One of the best things on TV, along side My Name is Earl, Two and a Half Men, King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond.

Soda Jerk
its much better than the IT Crowd.Youfuckingwhat?I don't know where you drew that comparison from, but good grief, that is pant-shittingly inaccurate.

One fucking bit.
Soda Jerk
Ah, that explains it then. It's still fucking dog though. If you want to oggle the broad, watch 8 Simple Rules. She's in that, and at least its fairly tolerable, and sometimes pretty great in the John Ritter era. I am a complete shit-sitcom nerd, but this is just unwatchable. It's almost as bad as the screaming-loud parp teen-coms they put on the Disney channel, except it has nerdy innuendos. Zzzz.
Sturtpot
Youfuckingwhat?I don't know where you drew that comparison from, but good grief, that is pant-shittingly inaccurate.Well it is. The IT Crowd is good, but the majority of it is 'chuckle under your breath" funny. It's not got a patch on TBBT which I can happily sit and laugh my tits off through most episodes. The big disappointment with The IT Crowd is that it also fails miserably in comparison to Father Ted and Black Books. It doesn't have the sharp wit or the original hunour that those two had permiating through them in abundance.
davewarden
I would probably gor the The IT crowd but never really thought of them in the same way.
Kaizen
I love TBBT. One of the few shows I litterally laugh out loud at. Infact my (rather annoyed) flatmate will testify to that since i have woken him up on more than one occasion. Extremely funny.x
Afro Droid
I thinks it's pretty hit or miss, but I do like all the cool stuff they have, 'specially the boys crossed lightsabres above his bed

aekido
I liked 8 simple rules
jon
8 Simple Rules was terrible, and Futurama's never been the same since I put that face to that voice. Neigh indeed. The Big Bang Theory is marvellous, and I'm sure that is a scientific fact. I rarely laugh out loud at the telly, but TBBT gets me every time.
