There will be grunting, there will be singing bowls, there will be theremins, there will be looping-aplenty, plus some guitar destruction, and it'll be a great (& FREE!!) chance to catch Bill before he plays with Keith Rowe & Rick Reed at Le Weekend in Stirling

On a similar note, it looks like it'll be a Balvack vs Matricarians fight to the death

Brother Alan, surely you've realised by now that's not how the cult works:bat:

We assimilate by pacific stealth, nothing as strenuous as fighting

So that's sorted then: it'll be the Matricarian Cult of Balvack.

I think he had actually been damaged by a fllying piece of guitar debris, and she was giving him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

The night seemed to go well....Bill started with a gentle, pulsing trance-like set which harmonised well with the cappuccino-making sounds. Then Spectral Fairground went into sonic attack mode using contact mikes which were doubling as endoscopic tubes......ace, and great fun to watch, too.

As the 24th was 'Black Moon', we were aiming for a set which covered 3 'moon-phases'....Invocation (gentle) Manifestation (getting more edgy) and Aftermath (the lunatic result, ending with aggression). Not sure how it actually sounded, but it was fun to do!

Massive thanks go out to Kilau for putting the night on, providing the PA/encouragement etc, and to Craig (Black Park) for doing the sound so well, and staying good-nature in the face of our (well, mine anyway!) intermittent instrument/lead problems
