stuartmaxwell
I'd say watching Mo FC is a different vibe altogether though. It's more of a laugh and banter than a serious game of football, where results mean precious little except to have a short-lasting one-upmanship over the fans of the other angus teams.sadly this is not the case (see most Saturdays after a gutless performance!) Alkaline
German and Dutch...pishYou clearly don't watch many German games. This season is a typically open affair with no-one past being humbled by the lesser known teams. There are very few draws (most draws aren't goalless either) in the Bundesliga. Even Bundesliga 2 has some decent quality football (certainly on a par with the Championship). Nobody expected Hoffenheim to be riding high up the league all season, though they are starting to wane now. Maybe if Ibisevic hadn't got injured it would've been a different story. There is no "big four" or "old firm" nonsense in the Bundesliga. There haven't been many runs, aside from the odd Bayern Munich run, on the title year after year. Bayern winning 12-1 against Sporting Lisbon on aggregate. Yeah, German Football is pish and provides no entertainment whatsoever...
Murrr
Doesn't the Bundesliga have the highest average attendance per game than any other league in the world? I think it's a cracking league. It's not as glamerous as those in Spain and Italy, sure, but it's fiercely competitive. Teams are up and down the league season-after-season and it's usually pretty hard to guess who's going to nab the European spots. It's a refreshing change from the predictability of certain other leagues in the continent. The support's great too: Dortmund have drawn crowds of 81,000 a couple of times this season and they're supposed to be relegation candidates! Where else do you find that kind of support?Money hasn't entirely had it's wicked way with the Bundesliga yet either; I read somewhere that you can get a full season ticket at certain clubs for as low as 100! It'd cost me that for five games at Pittodrie for crying out loud.I think it's a fantastic league and anyone who dismisses it because most of the teams don't play pretty La Liga football is being very shortsighted indeed. Bigsby
Yeah, because everyone'd MUCH rather watch some shitey repeats of Emmerdale than a football match between two teams they don't support. Oh hang on, sport is unpredictable and can be entertaining EVEN IF you don't have a vested interest in either of the teams playing. Easy to forget that isn't it?And in fact, even if you're a Scottish Neaderthal, sorry Nationalist, then surely you wouldn't mind watching an England game in case they get pumped off Bulgaria or something and you can jeer and hoot about Robert the Bruce, William Wallace, etc etc? At least until "we" get pumped off San Marino or Lichtenstein or some other bunch of posties and sparkies.Exactly. And now even ITV won't show the FA cup games in Scotland 'cause cocks moaned about the England games being shown.

Soda Jerk
I don't see what the problem is. I think Sky Sports is ace.
