Tim BENCH
I too were let down. 8 years ago they blew me away the other night they seemed past their prime. From the front the sound was rubbish. Amps were up far too loud on stage. But thats what you get when you sacrifice sound for a clear view.
ben_1903
meh. it was great where i was standing. And as for the bassist being rubbish - seemed okay to me. And i don't really care what she looks like...some of my favourite musicians are mingers.
Tim BENCH
Yeah I agree those INAME boys are nothing to look at arf arf! I hear on the grape vine she wasn't playing and her mic was just for show. Xcerts owned that gig. The sound guys knew the venue better and got a great sound from it. You could hear and feel every little nuance of Murray's vocal. I couldn't even tell if Som was singing. As for the bassist she was definitely in full control of her instrument at all times. Her vocals were backing track as she obviously cant sing the few parts that the old bassist did. I guess thats the only thing I found a bit disappointing but then its hardly unusual. She was still perfectly good at the bass parts. Murray
Credit for our sound must go to Nelly, he did a pretty cracking job with the amount of time we were given to soundcheck. Scott did however work his fucking arse off that night in order to keep the diva happy.x
