How did Psycho-A-Go-Go get worst band?!

Their last show at The Lemon Tree still might be the most fun I've ever had at a show.

We'd just been signed - Aberdeen being what it's like, we got worst band about a month afterwards...

I don't really remember any of those bands except for Psycho A Go Go. Who were ace

Really? I'm quite surprised you don't remember all of them o_O

I remember seeing Purple Munkie on the same bill as Deadloss at Exodus. I asked one of them if the name was a Simpsons reference, but they said it was just a coincidence.

I didn't really start going to gigs until I started playing with Dos Dedos in 2002 cos I wasn't really aware of there being a music scene in Aberdeen until I was in it. And in 2002 I moved into a flat about 100 metres from Doctor Drakes so I started going to a lot of gigs then.

Also I have a really bad memory.

I did the same. Maybe 200 metres away. Can't remember half the gigs I went to. Sharon and Jim can probably attest to this.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.60 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.0.10406/670; U; en) Presto/2.2.0)

That was a good year. Some great bands in that list. Might give the maple album a spin later.

I remember one in particular. I turned up to see Psydoll, found out there was no guinness, Ant put me on to Newcastle Broon Ale, and after a few, I fell asleep on the steps to the left of the stage. Managed to wake up adn see 1 whole Psydoll song. Legend.

DA PUNX!

Nero were fucking brilliant.

I remember seeing them at The Lemon Tree with literally about four other people in the audience. Yet they still played as if it was sold out.

Legends.
