Afro Droid
Anyone seen it yet? Good? (No spoilers please)Going to see it tommorow, can't wait - there are so many things that could go wrong with this film but everything I've seen/read about it is positive, other than the whopping 3hr running time. The Subtle Arts
Saw it at a preview on Wednesday at the Vue, It's quite long. It does follow the novel closely which I have only just started reading if truth be told but I can see where the movie can lose you in parts. It's done well, Don't listen to those who have said theres not enough action and theres too much blabbing because thats nonsense. Even before I started reading the novel just as a film on its own I don't think it misses anything out, it has alot in it and I thought though the ending seemed rushed it was neatly done.By far best new film I have seen this year. RF Scott
For some reason I'd never even heard of Watchmen before the hoo-ha about this film started. Is it worth reading (even a bit) of the graphic novels before seeing the film?

Monster Zero
For some reason I'd never even heard of Watchmen before the hoo-ha about this film started. Is it worth reading (even a bit) of the graphic novels before seeing the film?Yes. I started re-reading it last night and will go see the film after I think....it usually comes in a single graphic novel, it's a fair read, not the shortest graphic novel.
