You must spread some reputation around before giving it to Teabags again.

Three. You're on form today son.

Surely you realised the first time it wouldnt work? Why try another twice?

They're made by Earl Of Sandwich, which essentially means they're worthy of the Gods.

But aye, they're really good. #1 and #5. #2 is nice tasting despite the weird ingredients, but its VERY dry. All the reason to drink more I suppose.

i just had a #2. it was bloody lovely, as purple munkie used to sing.

bacon, peanut butter and maple syrup.

it revitalized me and no mistake. i fell like a new man.

Just to kind of defend revolution, it is a shit bar (no decent beer) but as somewhere to eat it's not too bad. Good burgers.

Also the first post mentioned the castle bar, I've been in there on the way back from Pittodrie and there's not much wrong with it, just a basic local. The original list reads like someone has just decided any pub that's not a swanky city centre place filled with dickheads in popped collars drinking stella has to be shit.

The only bar in Aberdeen that I really can't stand is Triple Kirks. The design and layout of the place is just headache inducing, all the furniture and the walls are just big stupid blocks of garish colour. And it's all on different levels and layed out weird. It's like being inside a game of Tetris, or a Japanese arcade. It's like it's designed to disorientate you. Plus there aren't enough seats and you can NEVER see the TV during a football match. I hate pretty much everything about the place, except that they do tend to employ hot barmaids.

I think I have to agree with you. Probably my least favourite. That and Exodus. They layout is utter balls. Hot bar maids is the only thing worth checking out  But we're not perverts or anything  haha

The blue lamp is a great place to go. As with regards to the nightclubs I was brought up christian so its only right I be in church on Sundays

Tks ok for a quiet socialising drink, Exodus unless it's a quiet day is shocking, so difficult to get served. Barmaids are hot though

Worst bars have to be Soul, Paramount, Babylon, Revolution and Tonic.

Is Tonic the one inside the Galleria shopping centre? If so it is the worst place in the history of bars.

Anyone who thinks the Hen Hoose is anything other than great is wrong.

I do most of my drinking in Archibald Simpsons nowadays as it's the first habitable pub on the way into town from work and it now has bottles of San Miguel for a quid. Watched half the Man Utd game in The Bobbin after spending 2.70 on a pint today surrounded by loud, rich Rugby playing students, then retreated to Archies where the beer's cheap and the tramps talk quietly to themselves in the corner. There's something comforting about the smell of piss when you walk through the door.

Guest Exposure @ Lemon Tree
Homosexual?

Incorrect.

I can't publicly post what it is code for or Circus Hands will join the queue to punch me in the face.

And, having grown up with him, I know he packs a pretty big punch... ;)

It's a bit of a shame to hear the Belmont getting a slating again. I mean it's just undergone a management change. It's my 2nd favourite bar in town.

My worst bar in Aberdeen..... Revolution. By a long shot.

Belmont Bar used to refuse me every time I was (dragged) in, hated the place yet folks I knew used to go in...I retired to Drummonds which was much more comfortable ;)

Ferryhill tavern is at the corner of my street. DON'T DO IT. Walk up to the Hayloft. It's a much safer and nicer option. The only good thing about the Tavern is its 'relaxed' attitude to licencing hours.... *

Hayloft is right across the road from my hoose, must try it out!

Can't stand Revo, too pretentious!
