Guest Stripey
Do any of you use breaks in your productions, or know of bands in aberdeen which use them? Whats your weapon of choice for processing them (recycle/wavesurgeon/others)? Personally I don't like recycle. I used to use wavesurgeon, but now I am sticking with the slicer that comes with FLStudio because it does a great job of extracting quantisation templates and has neat envelope options. Alex
I just use cubase for chopping and fucking up breaks. Either all on the same track, or slice them into different tracks and use a group channel. I've been recording a band with my friend on his 828 setup, and quadrafuzz is damn goodfor mixing a live kit. Quadrafuzz is just excellent for everything. Live, I just bung most things into ableton.
