Monster Zero
After about a million years of being a total legend (albeit with a few shonky musical detours along the way), he's doing insurance ads!!!!! That's it, there is nothing good left in the world.
Guest Tam o' Shantie
it's probably the most punk rock thing we are going to see in 2009"i''m not sellin' insurance, i'm sellin' time" yeah that's right iggy, stick it to the man! RossP
It is indeed strange times when a Meerkat is way more cool than Iggy Pop.Simples.

Old Gold
Iggy Pop isn't a rich man, so I don't really blame him.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Iggy Pop isn't a rich man, so I don't really blame him.He isn't a man with much integrity either it seems.

pogofish
Never mind that Swiftcover has a reputation for being one of the shittiest & most awkward insurers there is.Full-on sell-out, with bar. Cunt!
pogofish
Also remember that Swiftcover won't even insure musicians, entertainers housepersons, unemployed & many other occupations. Including Estate Agents - Ok, they have that going for them at least.
pogofish
Iggy Pop isn't a rich man, so I don't really blame him.He is now - Reputedly paid two million for this campaign alone.

free tibet
Iggy Pop selling insurance, Johnny Rotten selling butter & i've just heard a rumour that Alan Cynic is doing the new Thistle Window ads fucking sell-outs
Scootray
Fuck it, if I was Iggy Pop and someone offered me 2 million to do an insurance ad...no problem!
Alan Cynic
No way I'd do Thistle Windows.....but I'd happily do Aitken's rowies ads, if they ever wanted me. I recently photocopied an Aitkens bag, reduced it and laminated it with a view to sticking it on my guitar (I wouldn't ask for a lot of dough, either.)At least Iggy's alive (kind-of)...it bugs me when dead folks' music is used to advertise something naff, that they'd probably have vetoed when they were alive. TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
In my head, I could imagine Henry Rollins being really passionate about B&Q and DIY in general, so he would probably do the advert for free.We all know Iggy couldn't give a fuck about insurance.
