jcn Posted January 16, 2009 Report Share Posted January 16, 2009 Hi everyoneI have recently upgraded to a new alto sax so I have my old one to sell. It comes with a bag, crook and mouthpiece. I probably have some reeds I can throw in too.It doesn't have a name on it, it just has an imprint of 'foreign' on it. I did a bit of research online, and I think that this was done to imported brass instruments during the 1960s.This saxophone has been well gigged, I have had no problems with any of it. It could probably do with a service to tighten up the mechanisms a wee bit, but it is in playable condition as is. I would say that this is a good beginner's sax; it's quite old so has a decent tone, but the intonation isn't great. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
