Guest idol_wild
After being so impressed by April by Sun Kil Moon, I think I'll be investing in everything Mark Kozalek has released.Do it.He has only released solid gold music so far, under all of his monickers. I especially recommened What's Next to the Moon by Sun Kil Moon. The version of If You Want Blood is serene.
Larsen B
It might actually be a good idea to make such a list, because otherwise stuff I've been "meaning to buy" will just be forgotten.

Guest idol_wild
Well, that will be first on my shopping list then! Best Red House Painters to start with?Self-titled with the rollercoaster on the front cover. It has such genius tracks as:MistressThings Mean A LotStrawberry HillTake Me OutGrace Cathedral ParkBut I also recommend the mini-album Down Colourful Hill purely for the track Michael. It has to be one of the finest elegies about a missed friend I have ever heard. Lyrically perfect, compositionally brilliant, and swathed with melancholy. I love sad songs. Lemonade
I have Blonde on Blonde. However I can't believe that Nefarious C doesn't have Dark Side Of The Moon. Who doesn't own Dark Side Of The Moon? I've got 3 copies of it, 2 on CD and one on vinyl.

Guest idol_wild
Who doesn't own Dark Side Of The Moon? I don't.That's mainly because I think Pink Floyd are one of the worst bands I've ever heard.

Rusty Deathnail
I like a bit of Floyd from time to time. Not a constant in my life though. I'm still looking to buy some of my top ten albums from last year. I feel if it's made the final cut, it's only right to have the hard copy right?I usually use my Amazon wish list to keep on top of the CD's/DVD's I'd like to get hold of. Choice highlights from my three pages include The Dismemberment Plan back catalogue, African Scream Contest, Nomo's first album, and a whole bunch of westerns.I think most of my funds this year are going towards recording, gear(amp, monitors, mics), and a holiday. Can't beat some of those amazon marketplace prices though!
Rusty Deathnail
I'm probably gonna do a Jan and get the Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon stuff too. It's weird...it's like once his sound gets under your skin, you can't get enough. That is a man with a very clear vision of what he wants to accomplish. It sounds mighty lovely. Yeah, I need some of that STAT!
