jamesbroonbreed
Howdy. Been looking around to find the best way to connect my Macbook to my Focusrite twintrak pro via USB.Obviously no need for preamps or anything. just need spdif in and out (rca connections) and do 24bit.MIDI in and out would also be quite handy.Any ideas? jamesbroonbreed
0404 USBShizzam! think I've found it. Anyone had any experience with these?
Sam 45
Focusrite do some pretty good stuff as well.
Rusty Deathnail
Can't offer you too much but a friend of mine bought one of these and it would do the job. Doesn't feel like the sturdiest of constructions being quite light weight and plastic but it worked fine.
threeornothing
I bought the 0404 for my cousin and he finds it quite glitchy, but this is on windows. Generally it is ok though and the quality is good, but on a mac, I would stretch to using a firewire device anyday, rock solid timing. The MAUDIO Firewire Audiophile might be what you are after, but i think it is discontinued. Check ebay.
