Shaki
What a fucking nailer. It was on a Kerrang compilation of Maiden covers I felt compelled to buy (the first time I'd bought Kerrang in about 10 years!). I saw Gallows in the Tunnels and thought they were fucking brilliant but I've never listened much to their album(s?). Anyway, that irrelevant shit aside, Gallows cover of Iron Maiden's Wrathchild is a nailer.

The59Sound
I thought this was okay, but I thought the bulk of the stuff on that compilation was eclipsed by Coheed and Cambria's version of The Trooper.
medichi
Gallows are awesome - even when covering Maiden!
Kieran_imray
Not a fan of Gallows in general and I can't say I like that cover much, however, Coheed's version of The Trooper and Machine Head's cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name are both amazing! Murrr
The Gallows version of "Wrathchild" was awesome but I thought the rest of the tracks were weak, especially Avenged Sevenfold's butchering job on "Flash of the Blade". I'm not the biggest Gallows fan but they did a great job of twisting and contorting the song to make it their own, which is more than you can say for most of the other bands on the album.Still, nothing beats Crowbar's version of "Remember Tomorrow"...
