Jaaakkkeee
Pet Hate: Frustration over how to organise things. Genre, alphabetically, like HMV right? Well no. I want all my films like 40 Year Old Virgin and Role Models and Anchor man together. And I want tv and film versions of the same things together. And I also want to take certain films out to be in more of a pride of place thing. But maybe I left a certain Tarintino 2-parter with the rest. And it makes me feel uneasy. I have oldboy out on show but Lady Vengeance is with "Foreign films". I have CKY boxset out too, but all the jackass stuff is hidden away. Oh, apart from Jackass 3D. CAUSE THAT GOES WITH THE BLU-RAYS.Also, I don't want my favourite cds just chilling beside cds that aren't as good. I want to seperate them, make them stand out. Do I do an A-Z of not so good music then an A-Z of good music? WHAT DO I DO?!? Oh, and don't get me started on what the fuck I should do with my Enter Shikari Collection. All the vinyl is with my other vinyl. But the boxsets and cds are just on the floor in front.

Paranoid Android
Do people really still watch Jackass? It's 2013 for crying out loud. And it was pretty shit to begin with. I've no idea what CKY even is.
Jaaakkkeee
Do people really still watch Jackass? It's 2013 for crying out loud. And it was pretty shit to begin with. I've no idea what CKY even is. It wasn't shit. It was good fun. Now it's good fun in 3d for Christ's sake.CKY was a band bam's brother is in. Bam, Ryan Dunn, et al adopted CKY for the "movies" they were making. 4 volumes in total. Each movie was just terrible, terrible sketches, some not so terrible skits, and some stunts thrown together. The original dvd version of CKY 2 has an easter egg of a home made porn with Bam and his then girl friend (the girl from Haggard if I'm not mistaken). I've got the collectors box though. So CKY 2&3 have been cut down and put on the same dvd.
Eupraxia
To continue the theme of name grasping, I was speaking to a customer on the phone this week and he asked my name after I provided my email address. "Phillip," I said. "Okay, thanks Stuart. I will email you the details. Thanks for your help, bye." Right enough, he addressed me as Stuart in the email. Despite the fact my name is in my email address. One of the most memorable customer names I have encountered is Shona Cock. She married into that name, too. She must have really loved the cock. My kinda girl. I wonder if her husband is called Richard. I have a colleague who has the middle name Richard and the surname Dick. I bet his parents were high. waltz
Probably been covered before, but people who get their political opinions from Bill Hicks.Don't get me wrong, I'm as bleeding-heart pinko PC lefty as it gets so a lot of Hicks' extremely obvious opinions ring true to me but repeatedly shouting "IT'S A CONSPIRACY" at everything is annoying as fuck. Nothing like paranoid rhetoric from someone with terrible facial hair and the stale smell of rollies. Like, I just wanna get this orgy started, stop telling me about the JFK assassination.

ca_gere
The current Trayvon Martin/Zimmerman post-racial society debate. It's an utter joke. Institutional racism exists, gun laws are stupid...we should work together to fight this every single day not just when CNN decides it wants to raise its viewership numbers by creating a pantomime based on a trial. It's normally the right-wing scaremongers who take the bait in this kind of debate but i've been shocked by the number of libertarian friends of mine who are getting swept up in it. Martyrdom is so dangerous. Would this Trayvon kid be alive if he was white?... maybe, but that's not a reason to all of a sudden be up in arms about justice. The trial itself was fair... there just isn't enough evidence to send the man to jail. Simple as that. What bugs me about the hysteria is that there are no solutions being put forward. It's all focussed on this one trial (of which there are 100s of similar examples throughout the country). How can we reverse the trend caused by racial bias within law enforcement that's caused the break-up of the black family unit and the emergence of alpha-male black culture (which causes middle american white fear/incidents like the zimmerman trial)? Nobody has talked about changing the laws around drug convictions, or anything else that would stem the number of black men getting put to jail... which is so blatant and obviously the cause of a lot of racial problems in this country. This should be a constant topic of debate, not just when there's a trial going on. I hated every minute of the coverage I couldn't avoid seeing. Human anguish isn't something I enjoy watching but it seemed like I was forced into having an opinion on the trial - which in turn should reflect my politics. This just isn't right. Part of me felt for the victim (obviously) and part of me felt for Zimmerman but regardless of that fact, the trial itself doesn't have any effect on how I view society. I think for once, both sides of the debate are acting terribly.
