Tim BENCH
Did I hear Jim (over the noisy little bastards) say last night that one of the songs Welfare Mothers played was on the CD?If so, I am delighted. I loved their set.I'm afraid not. After they played "The Orchard" he said that that song was on a previous Kilau CD that never was. Fucking noisy bastards! For once there's a late night gig on that they can attend and they talk all over it. Why I owtta!

Alan Cynic
I like the last words on the whole CD (by a certain barrista)...."Seasons fucking greetings!!!!!"I also like the mix of stuff too.....agree on it being the best one so far...and the J Stax one is ace! Old Gold
I second the ace-ness of the Jim Stax song. The Jan Deal one is also particularly ear-catching.Heck, it's a downright lovely compilation. Honoured to be part of it.
Jim Stax
Do I have to bum everyone that says nice things? TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
A copy was played at work today, and my cover of Child's Christmas in Wales was described as "just noise" and "screechy" by a girl who had no idea that it was me who recorded it. I was delighted with those comments! Mark McCabe and Les Pelicans got positive feedback, but the general consensus was that it isn't a Christmassy enough compilation. No pleasing some people! Alan Cynic
Might be a fair point....it's more'wintry' than Christmassy...I should've called it a 'Winter Compilation'.Next year's one should be covers of carols, done bizarrely???
