LITTLE COMETS

Hailing from Newcastle-upon-Tyne using inopportune moments and a musical alphabet as deep as the sea and probably sounding nothing like the Kooks soon their combination of pockets, testing, melody and treason will stumble across your path and leave an indelible mark deeper than hue, fingerprint or membraneor so they say. If you like your pop music quirky, jerky and catchy then this is for you.

HEADLIGHT

A heady mix of rock, pop, indie and folk fused together with strong melodies and vocal hooks. Tender and affecting one moment, aggressive and unsettling the next. A tendency to diss Glasvegas may see them blacklisted in at least part of the imp camp (Graeme) but for the moment they have the benefit of the doubt!

CURATORS

Curators are a new Edinburgh based band featuring former members of Baillie & The Fault, Deadenstereo, To The Rescue and Misled Youth, as well as current members of Those Flying*Machines and The Stantons. Having been hidden away in a rehearsal room for months, the band have now played their first batch of gigs and have a single in the offing for later in the year, watch this space...

Guest Exposure @ Lemon Tree
Exodus is mince. Possibly the worst enclosed space in Aberdeen.

But yes, I shall go to this gig tonight.

Exodus just ain't what it used to be.... I used to love the place - avoid it if I can help it now though

That was all really very good fun indeed. Hurray for suspended percussion!

Haha, hell yes, a fantastic night, but criminally under-attended. Little Comets were really good, I wasn't convinced by their myspace recordings but it was one of the best live performances I've seen in a while.

I much enjoyed your set, the only problem was the length of the thing - surely you were only on for 15 mins or something?! I'll definetely be coming along the next time you brave the journey north.
