Hey,

One of my synths ( a roland SH101 for those of you in the know ) had been broken for a couple of months. I stumbled across this add in the PnJ yesterday and phoned the guy up. Even though he lives out in Westhill, he picked it up, fixed it and delivered it back within a day! It was a relatively difficult fix as well, involving replacing the ADSR chip.

From my brief chat with him, i believe he also does Amps and Microphones as well as collecting Hammond Organs.

So yeah, just thought i would give him a recommendation here :)

"ELECTRONIC musical instruments repaired, same day service where possible, specialist in electronic keyboards and amplification. Contact Aberserve: 07980 895296 WESTHILL "

For fixing my synth, which as I said needed a specific chip replacing, it was very well priced. especially considering synth repairs uk cost 55 an hour ( extra parts needed cost you ) it was a great price.

I believe he charges 25 a service plus parts parts will cost you extra. pretty good.

if you give him a few things the price can be bumped down a bit. i got 2 HH amps and my Ampeg seviced for 50 plus anther 15 for the ampeg part that needed replacing.

He also maintains valve amps and can service/change valves out too. Seems pretty good at what he does and knows what he is talking about.

All this 2 mins drive from my house... yas min!
